This is probably the most hilarious thing I’ve read all week.The state of Indiana was going to pay $1B for a computer and software from IBM that only had to process 10,000 applications for welfare (all the way up from 4,200) over the Internet.

And they couldn’t do it.

Please tell me you want to invest in my new start-up where we can charge HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS to states and governments, over and over again, for about 100 days of work from 3 guys I find on CraigsList and $100,000 in hardware cost for 4 years.
